Rachel Roller is an artist creating artist’s books and printed matter. Her work draws on literature, poetry, and personal narratives, transforming found objects and ephemera into intimate publications. Using traditional bookmaking techniques, she integrates memory, family histories, and the overlooked details of everyday life.

  • Grandma's Fortune

    A collection of over one hundred four- and five-leaved clovers inherited from Rachel Roller’s late grandmother. A lifetime of luck pressed between the pages of Wild Flowers of the Wayside and Woodland.

    An altered facsimile of Oma’s Fortune, a book of pressed clovers handed down to Rachel Roller (see original below).

    The special edition of 25 copies features an original clover from the collection housed in a glassine envelope.

  • Oma's Fortune

    A collection of over 100 four- and five-leaved clovers Rachel Roller inherited from her late grandmother, pressed between the pages of Wild Flowers of the Wayside and Woodlands. In it, the text reads: The name of the genus (Trifolium) is Latin and signifies three-leaved.
